Who I am
This website is run by An Ngo Lang, a writer, speaker, and actor based in Sydney, Australia. You can reach me via the contact form at anngolang.com/contact.
What information I collect
I only collect information you actively give me:
Your email address — if you sign up to my mailing list to receive my newsletter or free short story download.
Your name and message — if you reach out to me through the contact form.
I don’t have a comments section, user registration, or any way to upload files — so I don’t collect any of that kind of data.
My mailing list and Mailchimp
If you join my mailing list, your email address is stored and managed through Mailchimp, an email marketing platform. Mailchimp is based in the United States and complies with international data privacy standards.
Through Mailchimp, I can see basic information like whether you opened an email or clicked a link — this helps me understand what content is useful to you. I use your email address only to send you the things you signed up for: my newsletter, writing updates, and occasional announcements.
